Current Nominations

A record 203 nominations came in from community members for this year's Saratoga Reads! book of choice! We think this may be due to two things: the opening up of the criteria to non-fiction, which comprised 30% of the nominations; and the increasing popularity of the program. The voting period ran from June 14 to August 21. Now a group of 36 volunteers, from all walks of life, are reading the eligible nominations, and will finalize a ballot to be announced October 1. The community is encouraged to vote here on the website and at bookstore and library locations around town. Voting closes on October 31 and the winning title will be announced on November 6. We look forward to everyone's participation in Saratoga Reads!
